Custom tools for real business problems

Every business has tasks that eat time without adding value. We find them, automate them, and free you up to do the work only you can do.

🤖

AI-Assisted Quoting

Upload a print, sketch, or description — get a structured, priced quote draft in seconds. Built around your rates, your labor costs, your materials. Reviewed and sent by you.

📬

Automated Follow-Ups

Customer inquires, catering requests, quote follow-ups — set up once, runs automatically. No leads slipping through the cracks because you forgot to send a second email.

📋

Custom Intake Forms

Replace back-and-forth phone calls with a smart web form that captures exactly the information you need — and routes it to the right person automatically.

📊

Dashboard & Reporting

A clean, custom dashboard that shows you the numbers you actually care about — quote volume, open jobs, response time, revenue tracking — without learning a new platform.

AI Consulting

Not sure what AI can actually do for your business? We'll walk through your workflows, identify real opportunities, and give you a straight answer — including when the answer is "you don't need it yet."

C&C Shop — AI-Powered Quoting System

A precision machining shop in north-central Illinois was spending 20–30 minutes on every quote — pulling up spreadsheets, doing the math manually, chasing down material costs. Every quote was a grind. Here's what we built to replace that.

C&C Shop — AI-Powered Quoting Dashboard
AI quoting dashboard showing part analysis summary and itemized machining operation plan
The output: An itemized quote draft — operations broken out, material called out, setup count estimated, labor priced against the shop's own rate sheet. Owner reviews, edits if needed, and sends.
1

Customer uploads their file + job specs

STEP, DXF, PDF drawings, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Rhino — if your CAD software can export it, we accept it. Customer adds quantity, material preference, tolerances, surface finish, and deadline.

2

AI reads the file like a machinist

It counts every hole, measures every pocket, reads every note and tolerance callout. Then it cross-references the shop's rate sheet and a full machining reference dataset — speeds, feeds, machinability ratings, setup estimates by material — and builds a priced quote draft automatically.

3

Shop owner reviews the full breakdown

Operations itemized, material called out, setup count estimated, labor priced. Owner reviews, edits anything that needs adjusting, and approves — in minutes, not half an hour.

4

Customer gets confirmation their part was accepted

Once approved, the customer receives a notification that their part has been accepted along with the finalized quote. No waiting, no phone tag — just a clean handoff from inquiry to accepted job.

Smart features built into this system:

  • 🔩 Reads real geometry, not just filenames — for STEP files, the system extracts exact dimensions, part volume, material removal percentage, hole and bore count, and setup estimate from the actual 3D geometry. Not a guess.
  • 📐 STEP + PDF — the full picture — STEP file feeds the AI exact geometry data. PDF drawing provides the blueprint, title block, tolerances, and material callouts. Together they give the system everything a machinist would have on the shop floor.
  • ⚠️ DFM warnings before you quote — flags real manufacturability problems automatically: corner radii needing undersized end mills, thin walls at deflection risk, deep thread ratios. You see the issues before the customer does.
  • 📊 Quantity price breaks — auto-generated — every quote includes a 1/5/10/25 piece break table automatically. Built-in upsell, zero extra work.
  • ✏️ Every AI number is editable — machine hours, complexity multiplier, material cost, setup fee. Change one and the total recalculates instantly. You're always in control of what goes out the door.
Local BBQ Operation — Dynamic Catering Quote System

A BBQ catering business can't be on the phone all day taking booking requests, calculating headcounts, and quoting prices by hand. We built a fully dynamic catering system — customer builds their own order, sees a real-time quote, and submits. Owner gets a formatted request instantly. No back-and-forth, no calculator, no missed details.

Dynamic Plate & Menu Builder

Customer-facing: Customer selects plate count, picks proteins (mix-and-match with upcharge logic built in), and chooses sides. Pricing updates live as they build.
Real-Time Quote Summary
Quote summary showing itemized order, estimated total, and deposit amount
Before they submit: Customer sees a full itemized quote — proteins, sides, guest count, total, and 50% deposit amount. No surprises. No phone call needed to get a number.
1

Customer builds their order and gets a real quote

They pick their service type, headcount, proteins, and sides. The system calculates pricing live — including mix-protein upcharges and add-on sides — and shows a full itemized quote with deposit amount before they ever hit submit.

2

Owner gets a formatted request immediately

The moment the customer submits, the owner receives a complete, organized email — event date, headcount, full menu selection, location, and the quoted price. Everything needed to respond in one place.

3

Owner confirms and sends the quote

Owner reviews availability, approves or adjusts the quote, and confirms. Customer receives a professional quote email directly from the owner — not a generic auto-reply.

4

Customer pays the deposit to lock the date

Once the customer is ready to book, a payment request goes out for the 50% deposit. Date is locked, booking is confirmed. The whole process — from inquiry to booked event — without a single phone call.

Smart features built into this system:

  • 🗓️ Availability-aware — customers can't select a date that's already booked. Conflict check happens live before they submit.
  • 🍖 Two service modes — Full Service and Drop & Go each reshape the entire form and pricing logic automatically. One system, two completely different workflows.
  • 📍 Distance-aware pricing — customer types their venue, system calculates distance from your base location and flags travel fees automatically. No math, no awkward conversations.
  • 📋 Auto prep lists — enter your recipes once, and the system does the math. Every order generates a shopping and prep list based on exactly what was ordered.
We build around how you actually work

We don't hand you software and a manual. We sit down with you, understand your process, and build something that fits into your existing workflow — not the other way around.

1

Discovery: walk us through your workflow

We start by understanding what you do today — step by step. Where does time get wasted? Where do things fall through? What would you automate if you could? This is usually a 45–60 minute conversation.

2

Prototype: we show you something real

Before we build the whole thing, we show you a working prototype of the key piece. You try it, give feedback, and we refine before committing to the full build. No surprises when the final version lands.

3

Build: flat-rate, scoped in writing

You get a written scope and a flat price before we write a line of code. We build it, test it, and hand it off with training — so you can actually use it without calling us every time.

4

Support: we're here when something changes

Business processes change. New services, new rates, new employees — we can update your tool as your business evolves. No starting over from scratch every time.

Scoped and quoted flat-rate

Automation projects are scoped individually — there's no standard price because no two businesses need the same thing. You get a written quote before any work starts. Most small automation projects run $500–$2,500 depending on complexity. We'll tell you exactly what you're getting before you commit.

Talk Through Your Idea
What people ask us
Not at all. You need to know your business — we'll handle the tech. We'll explain what we're building in plain language, not jargon, and we'll make sure you can use it without a manual.
No — and we'll tell you that upfront. We're not in the business of replacing QuickBooks or your existing accounting tools. What we do is connect those tools to your workflow more intelligently, or handle the parts that your accounting software doesn't touch (like quote intake or customer communication).
There's no such thing as too simple — if it saves you 30 minutes a day, it pays for itself fast. If something's too complex for us to build well, we'll tell you straight and either refer you to a specialist or break it into phases we can actually deliver.
Depends on what we build. Simple web-based tools often run on the same infrastructure as your site. More complex systems run on a small cloud server (Railway, Cloudflare Workers) — typically $5–$20/month. We'll include hosting costs in your upfront quote so there are no surprises.
That's exactly the conversation to have. Reach out and describe the problem you're trying to solve — we'll tell you honestly what's buildable, what it would take, and whether it makes financial sense for your business size. No commitment required for that conversation.
